The mission of The Laughing Shark is to assist in developing ethical and appropriate therapeutic skills. We assist with the counselors with the development of their delivery of services that provide treatment to consumers with mental health, substance abuse, addiction, and co-occuring disorders. We understand that there is a need for ethical license and clinical supervision services as an integral part of counselor development and training. At The Laughing Shark, we believe that providing these services is our way to give back to our community, consumers, agencies and the future licensed professionals in the mental health and substance abuse fields. We know that counselors are doing important work related to the progress and future of the community where we all live. Our commitment to counselors is to ensure that, through the role of license supervision, you are being provided with the appropriate guidance and follow through. This allows counselors to complete requirements in the supervision process as they attain goals of licensure while acquiring effective skills to assist the consumers that they serve.
